Mel is a wonderful dancer and has the ability to pass on her knowledge in a way that is easy to understand and follow.  Her personable nature and the energy she brings to classes and lessons both motivates and inspires.  I have really enjoyed learning dance from Mel and highly recommend her as a dance teacher.

We can safely say that Mel was the best dance teacher we could have asked for to prepare our first dance for us at our wedding. For two people who are far from coordinated and haven't danced before, Mel was so patient and happy to go over things we didn't understand or couldn't master. We booked in a number of lessons with Mel and over that time she choreographed a dance that was so perfectly 'us'! Mel would video us each week to make sure we had something to take home and practice off and often would get us to practice in front of another group to get any nerves out of the way! On the big day the dance went off perfectly and everyone commented on how special it was. We would definitely recommend booking in Mel for a few dance lessons ahead of your big day.
